Our Story

Welcome to My Other Home Daycare & Preschool! We are a warm, family-run home child care founded on love, dedication, and decades of experience. Our story began in October 2003, when Ana Bomprezzi, a mother of three and a passionate caregiver, opened her licensed home daycare in Santa Clara. With a background in economics from her home country of Peru and additional early childhood education coursework at Mission College, Ana created a nurturing space where children could grow and thrive. Over the years, she completed numerous professional development workshops through trusted programs like 4Cs, First 5, Quality Matters, and UC Davis Extension.

In February 2019, her daughter Jennifher Valqui took over the daycare, giving it a fresh start while continuing the legacy her mother began. As a mom of two, I (Jennifher) understand what parents are looking for—safety, trust, warmth, and learning—and I’ve poured my heart into delivering that every day. I earned my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Mission College and completed a variety of courses and workshops through 4Cs and First 5. In 2023, while I was completing my studies, I began designing a formal preschool curriculum focused on preparing children for academic success. After graduating in May 2023, My Other Home Daycare officially became a certified preschool, expanding our educational offerings and giving children a more structured and enriched foundation for Kindergarten.

Now, Ana and I work side by side to ensure each child receives personalized care, love, and early academic preparation. Our daycare is more than just a place for children—it’s truly a second home. The strong family dynamic between mother and daughter brings an unmatched level of trust, communication, and consistency. We treat every child like our own and strive to create a joyful, educational environment that sets a foundation for lifelong success.

As the program director, my college education is one of the things that truly sets our daycare apart. In 2023, I created a complete preschool curriculum that introduces early academics, bilingual learning, and structured developmental activities. Since becoming a certified preschool, our program ensures that children graduate more than ready for Kindergarten—often excelling beyond peers in TK or other transitional programs. Parents consistently tell us their children are better prepared than peers attending Transitional Kindergarten (TK).

As the founder of My Other Home Daycare, she has been a steady and nurturing presence for countless families since 2003. Her deep patience and calm spirit make every child feel safe, seen, and valued. Ana has supported children from infancy through preschool and has watched many of them grow into confident, successful young people. She’s not only a caregiver, but a trusted guide, and her legacy is one of love, learning, and lasting impact.
